Meet the Owners
The Yale Bakery has been a beloved community staple for over a century. In 2017, Pat and Connie Hayes, both Yale natives, purchased the bakery, marking a new chapter in its history. Their story is one of love and dedication—having met in high school and been married for over 37 years, they both fondly remembered visiting the bakery as children.
When the opportunity to buy the bakery arose, it was a tough decision, representing a significant challenge and adventure. Connie retired from AT&T to take the leap, with Pat following a year later. Since then, they’ve poured their hearts into perfecting the sweets that have made the bakery a local favorite.
The bakery is more than just a business to Pat and Connie; it’s a labor of love and a testament to their lasting commitment to both each other and their hometown community.
